Jim Adams has enjoyed photography most of his life. He comes from a family of artists. Jim’s grandfather was an architect, watercolor painter and award winning photographer and his father was an avid amateur photographer and artist. His brother Michael is a professional artist with many works being enjoyed in buyers’ homes and offices.

Jim purchased his first SLR camera in the 60's to document his experience as a Marine in Vietnam. In 2009 he bought a digital SLR and since then has made countless images of nature, wildlife, aviation and other subjects. Jim’s art has been sold by various stock photo agencies and through this web site.

He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America.

Jim is currently a student of the New York Institute of Photography. He leads the project to produce a photographic directory as well as capturing many events for Ascension Lutheran Church in Medford, OR.
